Polar bears can’t tell time
They can’t phone in their concerns or questions
Drifting in smaller circles, they simply worry
Worry their homelands are dwindling to mere droplets of water
Oceans are rising
Does anyone care?
Seas’ footprints are swallowing shores
We make small human adjustments
Sea walls, building higher, construction causing destruction as waterfront
Spaces are virtually all gone
Polar bears can’t erect a fix for the short term
They must travel far and leave their familiar to sustain life
Their young will be transient and fearful
Polar bears are worried, very worried
