An Act of Containment

Self-expression invites enlightenment, which dispels confusion, and since life is so terribly short…

When I find myself in a strange perspective that must be remembered so that secrets can be told and anger be safely stored…

Then I know how to make myself smart, how to fall into this solitary act, this grace.

After all, dreams can only get me so far. So when imagination is everything, splashing it all down on paper is the only course of action left
