It’s okay to pick and choose where, when, and with whom to attend~ if you attend.
Some destination weddings are so costly for spectators who get that perverbial hug or four second dance, that sending a nice gift is the most sane option.
We have no kids, but fifteen nieces and nephews. We can’t and won’t attend but half.
It is just the way it is.
